Fees Early Years Funding

Please see fees section for the age categories.

The nursery claims the grant for eligible children, subject to the receipt of the relevant code issued by the Government, the parents National insurance number and completion of the parents declaration form for the relevant term. The hourly funding rate paid by the Government reduces as the child gets older.

The Funding has 3 categories:
9-23 months,
2 years, 3 and 4 year olds

The funding rate remains the same until the beginning of the term following your child’s 2nd or 3rd birthday. It is stretched over the full year ie 52 weeks therefore 15 hours becomes 11.17 hours per week and 30 hours becomes 22.34 hours per week. The nursery allows full time children to attend for 45 hours per week, therefore the additional hours are charged on a monthly basis at the rate applicable for your child’s age category. This should equate to the monthly fees shown under the fees- private and sponsored section.

If a child leaves the Nursery part way through the year, then, if necessary an adjustment will be made with regards to the hours covered by the Government.

It is the parents responsibility to re-confirm their eligibility on the Government’s system on time, failure to do so could result in the loss of your child’s funding.

Billing

An itemised invoice will be issued prior to the month end for the following calendar month.

Parents must set up a standing order or a tax free childcare account to settle accounts in a timely manner directly into the Nursery bank account, details of this is contained in your place offer letter. Late payers are referred to the management Committee.
