We provide full and part-time places to the children of St. George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust staff and to children within the local community at our purpose built facility within the hospital grounds.

Introduction to Blackshaw Nursery

Our nursery was established in January 1982 in a GLC funded, purpose built facility in the grounds of St.George’s Hospital. It was the first nursery of its kind in the country designed specifically to cater for the childcare needs of parents who worked shifts or unsocial hours.

Children are accepted from 1 year of age into The Tiny Tots Room, and continue with us until they leave for Primary School at 5 years.
